Oracle is a large-scale oil painting inspired by an ancient Greek myth in which a deer weeps into the eye of a man, revealing a prophecy. The painting depicts the man lying across the landscape, his body gradually transforming into the trunk of a tree from the waist down. This merging of human and natural forms evokes the inevitability of death and the eventual return of the human body to nature.

The work also reflects the nature of prophecy itself: something inevitable, moving toward its fulfillment regardless of whether it is understood or resisted. The deer, positioned at the boundary between the human and natural worlds, becomes both messenger and witness.
